Cub Scouts from across Leicestershire enjoyed an unforgettable day at Whipsnade Zoo, with more than 550 young people and leaders taking part in the county adventure.

During the visit, Cubs explored animals from around the world, experienced the butterfly house up close, and learned fascinating facts about wildlife including how a giraffe’s heart works to pump blood all the way up its long neck.

The trip was a fantastic opportunity for Cubs to learn, explore and share a great day together outdoors.

Here’s to the next adventure… see you all at CubJAM, 12–14 June!
